Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2025 · Last updated: September 2026

Clouker respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.

01

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information in order to provide our services:

  • Account information — such as your name, phone number, email address, studio or business name, and your role (for example manager or artist).
  • Content you enter — such as events, bookings, invoices, notes, files, and details about your clients and team members (see section 07).
  • Subscription status — your current plan and renewal status (see section 03).
  • App usage and diagnostic data — information about how the app is used and technical information such as device type, app version, and crash reports, used to keep the app working and improve it.

If you turn on Privacy Mode, your billing and financial records are not stored in our database at all — they are written directly to your own Google Drive. See sections 04 and 05.

02

How We Use Information

We use collected information to manage accounts, provide and improve the app, verify your subscription, keep the service secure, and provide support.

03

Subscriptions & Payments

Clouker offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Purchases are made through your Apple ID and processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details or Apple ID credentials.

We receive only the subscription information needed to unlock features — such as which plan you are on and whether it is active or expired. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed through your Apple account settings and Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

04

Google Drive Access

Clouker uses Google Drive access for two purposes: to let you export your data (such as invoices, reports, and event details) into a Google Sheet or file created directly by the app in your Google Drive, and — if you enable Privacy Mode — to store your billing records in a folder you choose in your own Drive.

We only access files that Clouker itself creates on your behalf, or files you explicitly select through Google's file picker. We do not access, scan, or read any other files in your Google Drive.

Clouker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the export and Privacy Mode features you request, and we do not use it for advertising or sell it.

🔒 Exported and Privacy Mode files remain fully under your control in your own Drive and are never shared with third parties.

05

Privacy Mode & Automatic Backups

Privacy Mode is optional and can be turned on from Settings. When it is enabled, your billing and financial records are read from and written to a data file inside a Google Drive folder that you select. Clouker does not keep a permanent copy of that billing data on its servers.

To keep the app fast, a copy of your billing data is also cached locally on your own device. This cache never leaves your device and is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

While Privacy Mode is on, Clouker automatically creates dated backup snapshots of your billing file:

  • Backups are written at most once per day, into a Backups sub-folder inside the same Drive folder you selected.
  • Backups are created on your behalf using your own Google account authorization — either by the app or by our servers acting on your behalf — and are saved in your Drive, not in our database.
  • When our servers perform a Drive operation for you, billing data passes through them only transiently to complete that operation. It is not retained or copied into our database.
  • Older backup snapshots are pruned automatically so the folder does not grow indefinitely.
  • You can open, download, or permanently delete any backup yourself at any time, directly from your Drive.

If you have invited team members to your workspace, members you have granted access to connect with their own Google account and read or write the same shared folder, according to the permissions you set in Drive and in Clouker.

☁️ Backups are automatic, but they are your files. Clouker never shares backup contents with any third party.

06

Data Security

We use Google Firebase and Firestore as our backend infrastructure, which encrypts data in transit (via HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Access to your account data is restricted through role-based permissions, so only authorized members of your workspace (e.g. studio managers, artists, or team members you've granted access to) can view relevant information.

Google Drive access uses OAuth tokens issued by Google. We do not store your Google password. To keep your Privacy Mode session working — including automatic background backups — Clouker's servers hold the access credentials needed to read and write the billing file in your selected Drive folder on your behalf. These credentials are used only for the Drive operations described in this policy, are encrypted at rest, and are never used to access any other file in your Drive.

This is a different guarantee from the billing data itself: your invoices, payments, and financial records are never copied into our database — they live only in your Drive and your device's local cache. What we hold is the ability to reach the folder you designated, not a copy of what's in it. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, which immediately cuts off both the app and our servers.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes. Access to Google user data within Clouker is limited to what's necessary to provide the export and Privacy Mode features described above.

07

Your Clients' Information

Clouker lets you enter information about your own clients and team, such as names, phone numbers, event details, and messages you paste into the app (for example a chat used to create an event). This information is processed to provide the features you use, such as extracting event details and organizing bookings.

You are responsible for having the right to enter this information and for using it in line with the laws that apply to your business. We process this information on your behalf to operate the service and do not use it for advertising or sell it.

08

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and app data for as long as your account remains active, in order to provide the service.

You can delete your account at any time, instantly, from within the app. Once you confirm, your account and associated data are removed from our systems, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion by contacting us at the email below.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple account, so please cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings before deleting your account to avoid further charges.

Google user data accessed via Google Drive is not stored on our servers — files, including automatic backups, are created and remain directly in your own Google Drive, under your control. Deleting your Clouker account does not delete these files from your Drive; you can remove them yourself at any time.

You can revoke Clouker's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page. Once access is revoked, the app can no longer read, write, or back up to your Drive.

09

Children's Privacy

Clouker is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, we're happy to help.
